June....gone.

So June is basically gone. Wow...the summer is truly flying by. At this rate I will be only posting once per month for the entire summer!

So I am still having stomach trouble. I have never had anything like this...since April I have had some sort of stomach ailment that won't go away. My regular doctor has done all sorts of blood tests and everything came back normal. So I get to go see a specialist. The problem is the appointment they set up for me with their specialist was 10 weeks out. So I had to call and get an appointment somewhere else. I wasn't going to wait 10 weeks. So I get to go see that specialist in the middle of July. Which blows because that means the summer is going to be about 1/2 over. Ahh well...life goes on.

Indy update

So Indy is such a great pup...but you already know that. We have found he doesn't like the hot weather much. When we take him for a walk on a hot day, toward the end of the walk he wants to lay down wherever he is. It's pretty amusing. He will lay down on the street, sidewalk, grass--whatever, it doesn't really matter. He will just lounge for a few minutes and then we can coax him to start walking again. Keisha had a similar dislike for the hot weather and I am not sure if it is the breed or just our luck! I owe Cheryl a call so I will talk to her about this.

We have taken Indy camping! We had a great time but he was a handful! All the new things to do and all the new places to explore. He didn't like it much if Theresa or I left the camper for any reason. He got really worried. So we might have to wait to take him again until he is a bit older. The upside is that he loves staying at "grandma's" and we want to be sure he is comfortable there. We have also taken him to a "pet hotel" close to our house to get him accustomed to other dogs and other people. He did very well there.
